Hello my name is Adrienne Williams.
I am a soldier, loving wife and Mother. Of all the things mentioned, nothing makes me happier than being a mother. Life sometimes throw curve balls but I’m built for anything that may try to stand in my way.
I first became a mother is 2018. Although my sweet angel baby didn’t make it past 6 weeks in the womb I still consider myself to have started motherhood that year. My husband and I later went on to try again in May of 2019, sadly again another sweet angel baby was too good for earth. We decided to give it one last try, the loss of two kids was already taking a toll on our emotions, work ethic and our marriage. In the midst of everything, July 2019 We officially heard a heart beat and on February 9, 2020, I gave birth to a healthy 7lb baby. Not even 10 months later I found out I was indeed pregnant again with a girl. I gave birth to her August 2021. What an eventful 2 years. All while expanding our family served my country.
I can still see myself wobbling to work 9 months pregnant. Chewing on ice, trying to find the closest parking spot so I wouldn’t have to walk too far. After joining the Army in 2009, balancing a career and children was something I didn’t think was possible. The Army is very demanding and sometimes you have to choose between family and work. I’m currently stationed at Fort Bragg as an Automated Logistical Specialist.
